How to calculate the accured interest

How to calculate the accured interest on fixed deposit, nsc, bonds etc for income tax purpose?

how to calculate the accured interest yearly on fixed deposit, nsc, for income tax purpose. suppose i make a fixed deposit of rs 100000 for 5 years the interest amount is 8% per year. now how shall i calculate interest amount on first year of my fixed deposit.

Interest on NSC Purchased on or after 15-01-00 to 28-02-2001. Interest on Rs.1,000/-
1st year=113, 2nd=125.80, 3rd=140, 4th=155.80, 5th=173.50 & 6th=193.10.

Interest on NSC Purchased after 01-03-2001; Interest on Rs.1,000/-
1St year= 97.20, 2nd=106.70, 3rd=117.10, 4th=128.50 , 5th=141.00 & 6th=154.70;

Regarding the fixed deposit & Bonds, the bank or the company who accepts such deposits will tell you and will give you a interest certificate at the end of the financial year.

The interest calculation (sinple interest)=
Principul x number of days x rate of interest / 100.
Example: Rs.1,000 x 1 year x 8 / 100 = Rs.80/-

"When there is an income tax, the just man will pay more and the unjust less on the same amount of income."
Greek philosopher Plato left this world about 350 years before Christ, but in this quote, he said something that would apply at all times, in all lands. When you add the incomes under all the five heads and account for the deductions to get your total taxable income, the amount on which you have to pay tax, Plato's quote might find an echo in your mind too.
There's some relief for those with an annual income of Rs 100,000 or less -- they don't have to pay tax. The limit is Rs 135,000 and Rs 185,000 for women and those above 65 years of age, respectively. The tax payable at different income levels is shown in the table.

Remember, filing of return is compulsory if your taxable income exceeds the basic limit indicated above, even if the tax payable is nil. You need to file returns even if you have incurred losses as a businessman or professional.
A surcharge and an education cess is levied on the amount of tax payable. The surcharge is 10 per cent of the tax amount and has to be paid if your annual income exceeds Rs 10 lakh (Rs 1 million).
The education cess of 2 per cent has to be paid if your annual income is above Rs 100,000. These charges push the tax rate of 10 per cent to 10.2 per cent, 20 per cent to 20.4 per cent and the highest tax slab to 30.6. For those with income exceeding Rs 10 lakh, the rate becomes 33.6 per cent, including surcharge and education cess.
If the tax already deducted by your employer is more than the tax payable, you are eligible to get a refund of the excess amount. Mention the details of your bank account in the tax form so that the refund gets credited to it.

The calculations are indicative and do not exhaust all possibilities
The fundamental rule of income tax is that tax becomes due as soon as income is earned. In the case of salaried employees, tax is deducted every month after estimating the total income for the year and accounting for deductions.
As far as business income is concerned, it is difficult to estimate income from day-to-day transactions. Therefore, tax is charged on estimation of income basis. As a thumb rule, if your income from a business or profession comes to Rs 100 at the end of a financial year, the income tax department assumes that Rs 30 (30 per cent) of it accrued up to September, Rs 60 (60 per cent) accrued up to December and the total income, that is, Rs 100, accrued till March.
You are supposed to match this income pattern while depositing self-assessment tax. You will have to pay a penalty in the form of interest on the due amount if you don't pay, pay less, or defer paying the advance tax.
Don't worry if you have paid all the taxes, but not filed your return by the due date, as the IT Act permits you to file the return till the end of assessment year. However, if you don't meet this deadline too, you are liable to pay a penalty of Rs 5,000.
American Novelist Herman Wouk said, "The only imaginative fiction being written today is income tax returns." Our advice: do your bit as a responsible citizen of the country, pay taxes on time, stay away from fiction, and relax.

SEO Copywriting

The First Step Toward Higher Search Engine Rankings

If you know anything about ranking in Google (and chances are you do if you're reading this), then you know that ranking in Google is all about the links. The bottom line: you need to have more links aimed at your page, with the keywords you want to rank for in the anchor text, than your competition does.

The problem is that it's incredibly time consuming and tedious to manually check every single result for the number of links it has aimed at it. On top of that, having to manually check the anchor text of those links can take hours!

What is SEO Copywriting ?

SEO (search engine optimization) copywriting has traditionally been about writing web page copy that has targeted keyword phrases in certain frequencies and densities. While keywords are still important, search engine algorithms have evolved to treat what others think about the content, and the words they use to describe it in links, as more of an indication of quality and relevance.

You can try the SEO Copywriting 2.0 tutorial to improve your writing skill.

The SEO Copywriting 2.0 tutorial is designed to provide you with a step-by-step strategy for creating content that scores links and ranks well in search engines in five easy lessons.

cracking

Cracking is defined as the attempt to remove the copy protections inserted into software programs. A program successfully stripped of protections is then known as having been "Cracked".
Some of the removed protections include:

Time limits - example of this is a 30-day trial period, after which the program will no longer run.
Nag Screen - graphic that appears, at programmer determined intervals, asking you to register the software.
Serial Number - the use of an assigned number that is required for the program to function.
A Crack usually comes in the form of an .exe or .com file. Like a file you download from a software company to correct a bug or add a feature, a Crack patches one or more of the applications .dll files or the main .exe file itself.

Is This Legal?

Similar to the other Internet giveaway, Warez, the legality of Cracks is far from being globally defined.

The most common belief stated online is that it is legal to write, upload and even download a Crack, as long as you don't use it to disable a software title's copy protection. However on 10-24-97, it was reported in the U.S. that two separate arrests were made for the "illegal distribution of Cracks."

The news article reveals a few interesting points about how the FBI and the SPA had two sites under surveillance for seven months!

The legality of reverse engineering software has been established in many parts of the world. In Europe for example, this activity is clearly defined as legal in the European Union Directive.

In the United States, several court cases have ruled that the reverse engineering of software is legal, as long as the motive is not commercial gain.

Read more about cases that ruled in favor of the right to disassemble software.

You may have read the above text and said to yourself, "Hey the software license says I am forbidden to decompile the software I own."

You're right, it does. Except, you don't "own it". You are being "allowed to license it"

Cracking the Code

While there are many different ways to penetrate most software programs protections, two   popular techniques are focused here.

One cracking method is to disassemble the target programs (.exe) file using Wdasm 8.9, which, as I stated earlier, outputs the programs source code in assembly language (ASM).

While using Wdasm 8.9 will not likely reveal the actual serial or registration number, it will expose the locations in the code where the softwares protections lurk. Once found, these protections are easily disabled, allowing for the program to be registered by entering the wrong info or no info at all.

Another weakness in protection that is commonly exploited by Crackers is the software's reliance on calling Win32 API functions. Two of these functions are GetWindowTextA and LstrCmpA.

After a user provides their Name and Registration Code or Serial Number in a dialog box, these type of API functions are called to "compare to" or "generate" the code needed to register the program.

Using NuMega's Soft-ice debugger a Cracker can easily set "breakpoints" on these functions to display their location in memory. Armed with this info the Cracker can then instruct Soft-ice to "display" the information stored in that segment of memory.

Here is a list of some of the tools used in Cracking:
Hex Editor - used to patch disassembled code.
Wdasm 8.9 - shareware disassembler, also includes a debugger.
IDA Pro 3.7 - interactive disassembler. Learn more about it Here.
DCC32 - De-compiler that kicks out actual C source code. Learn more about it Here.
SoftICE - most powerful Cracking tool in existence. Available from NuMega.

5 Ways to Make Money Online with No Investment

Is it really possible to make money using the Internet? Many web sites offer ways to help you make money online. So you spend 15 minutes reading over their reviews and seeing all of the wonderful opportunities they offer just to find out that they are really trying to sell you a product. A book, a CD, a download…like they said, don’t ever pay to work. One Time Fee – Once again, there are several sites that offer the customer genuine ways to make money off of the internet, but in return they want a one time fee (or monthly membership fee) of “X amount” of dollars. Don’t sign up for these systems. The majority of the time you will be given information that is readily available for free elsewhere. These fees are non-refundable, so once you discover that you have been ripped-off you will be unable to get your money back.
I hope you will find some way out here.

Your EYEBALL can now be replaced by an ELECTRONIC eyeball

We have been detailing the progress of advances in artificial vision. Past advances consisted of the successful implantation of arrays of electrodes, which took the place of dead rods and cones and could stimulate the optic nerve to "see" patterns. Such efforts could be seen as a stepping stone to what these researchers hope to accomplish. The University of Illinois and Northwestern University have taken artificial vision to the next level by designing a fully artificial eyeball, which could one day "plug in" to the optic nerve for a vision replacement or enhancement.

The project began with Yonggang Huang, Joseph Cummings Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science, and John Rogers, the Flory-Founder Chair Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. They teamed up to create a naturally curved array of silicon detectors and electronics that can make in essence a curved camera sensor, which mimics the human eye's design. The curved surface, like in the eye would act as the focal plane of the camera and capture an image.

The research was the cover story of the August 7 edition of the journal Nature and can be read here.

Optics engineers have long known that the natural solution was the optimal one. Where cameras have to bounce light through a series of lenses to get it to form an image on a flat surface, a curved sensor could accept light passed through a single lens covered aperture akin to the lens and pupil of the eye.

Professor Rogers took over the design of curved surface to print the electronics on creating a thin elastomeric membrane -- basically rubber -- that could be stretched flat. After printing electronics on the membrane, it was unstretched, popping back to a hemispherical configuration.

One critical challenge is that brittle semiconductor materials typically crack under the stress of curving. To overcome this Professor Rogers and Professor Huang created an array of electronics so tiny it was unaffected by the curvature. The array's photodetectors and circuits comprised a 100 micrometer square, comprising a pixel of the device. Similar to buildings on a curved Earth, the scale of the curvature versus the tiny size of the array was enough that the silicon went unharmed.

Multiple pixels are connected together via thin metal wires on plastic, which the pair call "pop-up bridges" as they pop off the rubber surface when the device snaps back in place. These bridges help to relieve stress when the substrate returns a spherical shape. They were able to further relieve stress by sandwiching the silicon devices between two curved layers in the so-called natural mechanical plane, which minimizes stress.

The method works quite well. When tested after returning to a spherical shape, 99 percent of the devices still worked. Better yet, the silicon was only compressed .002 percent -- well below the 1 percent where silicon devices typically fail and break.

The researchers took initial images from the electronic eye-type camera and found them to be startlingly clear. When compared to planar camera images with a similar sensor, the eyeball camera easily triumphed. Professor Huang stated, "In a conventional, planar camera, parts of the images that fall at the edges of the fields of view are typically not imaged well using simple optics. The hemisphere layout of the electronic eye eliminates this and other limitations, thereby providing improved imaging characteristics."

To make the final design, the hemispherical membrane plus electronics was mounted on a hemispherical piece of glass. Then a lens and further components are added. The end result is a camera roughly the size and shape of a human eye. The current version is limited to 256 pixels, but researchers are quickly increasing this number.

This is the first device of this nature that could potentially be used as a full replacement to the human eyeball. As imaging electronics improve, the image sensors of the device will only improve, yielding the possibility of better than human vision resolutions in years to come.

The new device, which has transformed a long-standing science fiction staple into reality, could eventually see full implant if an interface to the optic nerve is developed. Before that, it will likely see action in the next generation of ocular implants. It could also see use in the next generation of war robots, many of which contain image processing capabilities.

With either application the revolutionary curved sensor is the key to it all, as it produces a better image. As Professor Rogers said, "Optics simulations and imaging studies show that these systems provide a much broader field of view, improved illumination uniformity and fewer aberrations than flat cameras with similar imaging lenses. Hemispherical detector arrays are also much better suited for use as retinal implants than flat detectors. The ability to wrap high quality silicon devices onto complex surfaces and biological tissues adds very interesting and powerful capabilities to electronic and optoelectronic device design, with many new application possibilities."

The research was funded by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Energy.

New 50 megapixels camera from Kodak

The new KAF-50100 image sensor replaces the nearly three year old 39 megapixel KAF-39000 as the highest performing image sensor Kodak sells. The CCD measures 49.8 x 36.8 mm, which is twice the size of a regular high-end DSLR CCD, but the same size as the KAF-39000 CCD. The new model includes a total of 51.6 million square pixels measures 6.0 μm x 6.0 μm, which is substantially smaller than the 6.8 μm pixels of the KAF-39000.

The resulting images are nothing less than impressive. Kodak says that at 50 megapixels, you could easily detect an object the size of a notebook computer in an image that is covering a width of 1.5 miles. Not surprisingly, the main application field of the chip will be industrial and aerial photography. Pricing of the chip was withheld. However, industry sources recently told us that the KAF-39000 CCD is priced north of $1000.

Hasselblad confirmed that it will be using the new Kodak chip for a new flagship camera of its H3DII series. The already announced H3DII-50, scheduled for a release later this year, will create 65 MB RAW or 150 MB TIFF image files at a rate of 1.1 images per second and 33 images per minute. Images can be stored on U-DMA CF cards, a 100 GB hard drive solution or a directly connected Mac or PC.

The camera weighs 2290 grams, more than four pounds, and will be priced above the 39 megapixel model: Hasselblad said that the H3DII-50 will be available in October of this year for $39,995.

journy of life

This is my own personal views of life. Its seems to be very confusing itself the life.Things never goes as we expect. When we are young we see everywhere colour in our life but as time passes we gradually realise that how wrong were we.The reality is very cruel. How alone we are,and helpless.Few people are blessed with real friend and relatives. In our bad times hardly anyone show-up for a helping hand.Happyness is like a long forgotten word for me.
My married life:-
I had some beautifull dreams of a married life. That I would have a woman of my choice who would understand me without much explanation about myself to her and we would make a beautifull home. But it seems from the beginning something is going wrong into that fortune and day by day I am heading to a lone strugle.
